Salim, of Chinese-Indonesian descent, and Tasya, a native Indonesian, decide to hold their pre-wedding photo shoot at Salim’s ancestral home following the death of his aunt, his last living relative. While there, Salim is tasked with maintaining a daily incense-burning ritual at a mysterious altar, a family tradition he must uphold. As the couple prepares for their wedding, they encounter a series of unsettling and terrifying events linked to the ritual and the house’s dark history.
